Nestled directly off the scenic John Day By-Way—the gateway to the John Day Fossil Beds—Tim-Buck II Cabin is our newly remodeled retreat steeped in family heritage. Conveniently located just 6 minutes from the fully stocked Rowe Creek Reservoir, 12 minutes from the Twickenham boat launch, 47 minutes from The Painted Hills, and only 23 minutes from the local Tiger Town Brewery, this unique space offers both accessibility and tranquility.

Tucked among the trees, you’ll find free-range turkeys, cattle, deer, and elk roaming nearby, while the picturesque byway lies just down the driveway, ensuring that amenities are close at hand yet peace and solitude prevail. Guests can fully enjoy the natural surroundings by using the creek, exploring the dirt roads, and hiking the hills that embrace the cabin. Please note that we offer prepared meals and shopping with advance notice since local store hours are limited—if you need anything urgently, simply let us know and we’ll do our best to help.
